  2. Before this,I thought that I had a choice to be a doctor. After SPM,I kept on hoping to go to matriculation and take medical course. One day, I got an offer from Universiti Darul Iman, Terengganu in medical course. Without thinking further, I told my parents that I accepted the offer. Obviously, they disagreed. They wanted me to enter teaching course. But, I still sticked to my choice and at last on June 26 I went there for registration. A day before the registration day, I got a call from my friend. He told that I got an offer from Institut Pendidikan Guru in Miri. After having a discussion with my sister, I finally chose to accept it. Now, I'm already in Miri. I finally realized that my parents'choice is the best choice for me.

If I have given a choice, I don't want to be a teacher. Instead, I want to be a traveller. The reason for me to be a traveller is because I love adventure. Live at the other places is not same as you live at your own hometown. It more difficult and need your skills to adapt to the new environment. Besides, I want to be an independent person. This is because, when you travelling, there are no peoples to control or influence your action. Everything you do are only for yourself. Lastly, I want to be a traveller because I love to meet new peoples from different backgrounds. These peoples will give me a lot of experiences that I will not forget until the end of my life.

  4. If I am given a choice, I would like to study in Chinese school rather than study in Malay school. I want to learn Chinese language. Why? Since I was 11 years old, many people thought that I am a Chinese. Even when I was first day in this institute, many of the Chinese students spoke Chinese to me. If only I can speak this language, it might be easy for me to make friends with Chinese. Moreover, I might not taking Mathematics course but Chinese course. (VIANNEY JAINOL, 1MTBIM)

  5. I'm originally left-handed. When I was in nursery and kindergarten, I became the odd one out. Other children didn't want to mix with me.In the end, the teachers forced me to use right hand, so that I won't cause so much trouble. In the end, I can use both my left hand and right hand to write. I decide to stop using my left hand to write when I was in primary one. Now, when thinking back about the choice I made, I think I had made a good choice.

    title : Choice in life

I have many choices to be chosen in life, but in this snippet, I only tell about what choice I must pick either to be a good person or not in life. I had this situation while I am in the group of drinker and smoker and in addition at that place, the alcohol and cigarette are cheap enough to be bought. The place that I mention is at Labuan, which is the school that I studied after SPM examination. In that school I have a lot of friends that I familiar with their behavior. There, every Sunday I and all my friends will go out to go to the city, but one day my friends invite me to go to one club to have some drinks and to have some fun, which mean drink alcohol. From that moment, I think and talk to me whether want to join them or just go back to the school alone. That time, I had many question in my head include ‘what is the advantage to join them?’ and I answered to myself ‘if I did not join them maybe I will lose friendship’, the other question I think is ‘what can I be if join them, am I will be a drunker and will ruin my life?’. So, after thinking a while, I make a decision that make my life still better until now and now, when I think back, if I accept their invitation maybe I will be a drunker and will not succeed in life.

Since at the young age, i have no intention to become a teacher. My previous ambition is to become a police inspector. Also, i entered form 6 with my only goal to graduate and attending local university. But, after having a year studied in the IPGM Kampus Sarawak(Miri), i found that it was a very interesting place. There, i had learned a lot more including friendship, various kind of sport, enjoyed scenery of Miri, and above all i can improve my communicative skill.

It is hard when comes to making choice especially to make a right one. Even little things such as whether reading or sleeping, football or tennis or some other stuffs that we faced each day. Students need to choose the right stream or field in order to pursue their dreamed job. Adults too having some choices, for example either to buy a small house or a bigger one and whether to buy car or not. Even children need to choose the right toys to play with and the best candies to have. All of the choices that we made only have one simple objective, that is to be perfect. Like or not, we need to make choice every day even a single minutes counts. It is not the choices that are impotant, but it is how we handle them matters.

In our life, we have to deal with many choices everyday and the choices that we had chosen will determine who we are in the future. Well, for me, the biggest decision that I've had ever made in my entire life was when I had to choose between continuing my study in the local university or the Institut Perguruan Sarawak(IPS) Miri. It may sound absurd but I am very fond of entering both university and IPS. Hence, it took me several days to figure out which choices will satisfy me better. Eventually, I chose IPS as the place to further my study. From there, I learnt to make a wise decision and to be sure whether your choice will make you happy in the future.

Everyone must have their own choice including me. Since i was in secondary, i have my own choice of my life. i really like to be a policewoman. This is because, i like extreme activities. After taking my last paper in my SPM, i was thinking for action that i need to do next. While waiting for my result, i was looking for a part time job. After that, my grandmother told me that she wanted to make an application for me. Surprisingly, she told me that i got an offer in teachers training course. I wondered why I felt happy too. My parent also want me to accept the offer. I also wants to make them happy and proud of me. So, i decided to accept the offer and left my true ambition. After that, i made my new decision that i want to be a good teacher.

After I had finished my study in Form 5, I wanted to further my study in nursing course at Master Skill. I've told my mother about that and she agreed with my decision. But my father asked me to further my study in Form 6. Actually, Form 6 was not my choice. Many people said that Form 6 is very though. That's why I don't want to further my study in Form 6. But, at that time, I just followed what my father asked me to do without any doubt. Although deep in my heart I felt very hurt but I tried to do the best in my study. After one and a half year, I still wanted to be a nurse and I've applied for nursing course in SPA. At the same time I also applied for teacher’s training course. Both of my parents agreed with the decision that I've made. I got the offer for teacher’s training course earlier than nursing course. That's why I am here; at IPG Kampus Sarawak. Don't misunderstand me as it was not my last choice.

There are many choices in our life. Every choice we made will decide the pattern of life we have to go through. For me, although my ambition is to be a teacher when I was in primary school, however, I had changed my mind when I was in secondary school. I wanted to be a pharmacist. So, I struggled hard for that in SPM. After SPM, I did apply in SPA for pharmacist and nursing courses. Besides, I also applied for teacher training course as my parents wished. Unfortunately, I only got the offer for nursing course and teacher training course. Whatever, I still have to make a choice between the two courses offered because I really don't want to stay in Form 6. Finally, I chose to be a teacher, again. Besides my parents' wish, I chose to be a teacher because it is a noble career. I can help students in their study so that they can succeed in their life.
