  7. “I Thought It Was Coming”.
    By Nathaneal Anak Chemaline (1MTBIM).
    ‘The Newly Post’.
It happened about 4.30 p.m when many young people planned to play at the field. Government servants and employees seem to be busy packing for home. Traffic was extremely harsh and chaotic at that very day. Well, for Miri’s citizen it is normal for them and just seemingly some were having their ‘Saturday’s Cook’ at home, resting with their family.
The strong wind appeared and alerted up every single breath in Miri. It was first thought to be normal, however it tremendously blown up things that stop it. Dried leaves were of course the first to get into the show together with hanged clothes and pieces of wood branches.
The unusual wind too had visited Ali’s home. Some of his belongings outside his house scattered all over his house compounds. “I thought it was coming. I never felt so terrified although it was just about half an hour time. I’m thought it was the Tsunami or any other wind disasters. I pray hard while it happened and thank God it was just an emergency alarm from Him,” said Mr. Ali, one of the teacher in SMK Riam Road.
It is yet not the moment of doom for some of the citizens. God’s power alerted Miri that day and maybe it’s just a message for them to be prepared for something really big in the future. It too make them realized that Malaysia is no longer disaster-free. We as Malaysians should be always thankful for where we are and we should be careful before the real disaster come and silence us.
